Whether you live in Florida or are here on family vacation, 4th of July Fireworks are definitely something to see beachside. These 5 Fun Florida Beaches not only put on a fantastic display for 4th of July Fireworks, they offer a whole day filled with family fun at the beach.

COCOA BEACH

The quintessential surfer’s paradise, Cocoa Beach doesn’t just offer one night of festivities, but three! Pick July 2nd to watch fireworks over Port Canaveral. July 3rd head right to the beach for fireworks over the ocean. On July 4th, celebrate with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and more fireworks at Cocoa Riverfront Park.

Cocoa Beach has plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance, playgrounds, and public bathrooms to entertain and feed you for the day.

SIESTA KEY

The Best Beach in America would offer some of America’s best fireworks. Head to the sugar sand beaches to pick shells during the day and enjoy an evening of fantastic celebrations. According to the Chamber, “viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intracoastal waterway”. Visit nearby Longboat Key for the Annual Freedom Fest Parade at 9 am. After, head to the beach for a day of swimming and sand castles.

MARATHON

Sombrero Beach begins with a parade at 10, opening ceremonies at 11:30 and continues throughout the day. Enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers and local bands all day. By 9 pm, the annual sky concert begins.

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH

There’s something quite intriguing about celebrating our nation’s birth in our nation’s oldest city. Fireworks over Matanzas in St. Augustine gives you the best of all worlds, combing beach and history. Spend the day on the beach, wandering shops, or dining. A concert begins at 6 pm, culminating with one of the largest 4th of July fireworks displays on the East Coast.

FORT WALTON BEACH

In the panhandle, Fort Walton Beach gets started at 4 pm. They offer a kids got talent show, concerts. Additionally, the fireworks are accompanied by the Emerald Coast Chorus.

Of course, these are just a few of the fabulous beaches Florida has to offer. The fantastic thing about watching fireworks on the beach in one location is that you often see them further down the beach at another!
