After John Tesh recovered from a Stage 3 cancer diagnosis, he wanted to help others going through difficult times so he and his family launched TeshTV which provides faith-based content, 24/7. John shares, "I know from experiencing a victory over cancer that there's power and healing in the Word of God. That's why I created TeshTV."

In 2015, John was told that he had 18-24 months to live and told to get his affairs in order. He and Connie were crushed. He had faith in the doctors and surgeons and the treatment plans they had put together. Yet, once he began to understand healing according to the scriptures and through the teaching of Andrew Wommack, he and Connie learned to pray differently.

Connie, Gib (John’s stepson), and John have a portion of the scripture Mark 11:23-24 tattooed on their bodies: "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
