Miramar hosted a special event this week: ASPA SoFL Best Practices Conference focuses on highlighting the best practices presently in and around the profession, study, and practice of Public Policy and Administration. This is a prestigious, high-profile event for Miramar and Mayor Hon. Wayne Messam, City of Miramar, was there. This year’s conference theme is “Public Service and the Pursuit of Social Equity”

*Dr. Rosenbaum is the founding Director of the Institute for Public Management and Community Service (IPMCS) and Center for Democracy and Good Governance at Florida International University (FIU). He recently served as President of the 9,000-member American Society for Public Administration which is made up of practitioners, students and academics from throughout the United States. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and is the only American member of the 24 person United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration, of which he serves as Vice Chairperson, and for which he was nominated by the Secretary General of the United Nations, vetted by the US Ambassador and confirmed by the UN Economic and Social Council.
