The Canada native has worked as a fashion writer for outlets like Vogue and Interview, and previously held the position as fashion features editor at Glamour, where she focused on a plus-size beat. She’s also the founder of Henning, a size-inclusive luxury womenswear brand that was acquired by Universal Standard earlier this year.

Chan, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue, posed for photographer James Macari in the Dominican Republic. We recently caught up with the model during launch week events at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Hollywood, Fla., to chat all about her rookie year.
