Tom Brady throws some serious shade at ESPN

ESPN's "SportsCenter" Twitter account then shared a graphic with part of a Tom Brady quote, and attributed the quote to his podcast. But the seven-time Super Bowl champion didn't think ESPN went far enough to give his show proper credit.

Maybe Tom Brady has a future working in sports media — just perhaps not with ESPN.

The Buccaneers quarterback did not seem happy with the network’s “SportsCenter” Twitter account after it quoted him talking about rookie quarterbacks on his “Let’s Go” podcast — without linking to the show.

“Apparently gone are the days of including the link to the show…” Brady responded with a quote Tweet and a link to the podcast.

Coincidentally, Brady’s last tweet before the clap back included a trailer of “Man in the Arena,” a show about Brady that just so happens to be streaming on ESPN+ this fall. There were no links in that tweet from Brady.

While the “SportsCenter” account may have missed Brady’s podcast link, ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter made sure to amend the issue by sharing a link of the show.

On the field, Brady and the Buccaneers take on the Falcons in Week 2. It remains to be seen whether he addresses Wednesday’s tweet in his next episode.
