KOBRA — GGA GALLERY

International

Exhibition "Larger Than Life Part II" is a global message of Peace and Unity in the Wynwood. The Wynwood walls have given a voice for the underprivileged class.

Back to the Roman Empire, graffiti on public walls also were a way to empower poor communities. Eduardo Kobra, a Brazilian artist who painted more than 500 murals in Brazil and has an exhibition in the GGA Gallery, has been part of this process. His exhibition has paintings of Picasso and also a “forgotten” girl which means that she is just as important as the famous artist.

Becoming a nonconformist is about discovering what works for you and others as a society that is free of political bias which one also rescues the oppressed. Applying this concept to the current area and around the world, Cities will change stereotypes and inequalities and will reshape the democratic meaning of “for people”.
