Please note, U.S. passports can be renewed at any time before or after they expire, and a U.S. passport is valid for travel to the United States until the day it expires.
Can I apply to renew my child’s passport, apply for my child’s first adult passport, or apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) and first ever U.S. passport for my child?

If your child does not have imminent travel, please continue to check this webpage regularly as we will update it as soon as we are able to resume routine in-person appointments to apply for child passport renewals, first adult passports, and CRBAs and first passports. It is not possible to apply for these services by mail.
