Summer 2020 might be much warmer than average for the United States. Meteorologists revealed that July could bring unusually hot temperatures for more than two-thirds of the continental United States, possibly matching the historic levels seen in 2011 and 2012.

A weather report released by the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center shows increased chances for above-normal temperatures across most of the country and below normal rainfall levels. The extreme weather could hit parts of the country as soon as this weekend.
